Why Eating is a Moral Act Presentation

by Jim Ennis, Executive Director, Catholic Rural Life

CRL’s Executive Director, James Ennis, will be kicking off a Lenten Lecture Series entitled Faith, Food and the Environment. The topic of Mr. Ennis’ presentation will be on Why Eating is a Moral Act. The lecture will take place at Sts. Patrick and Raphael in Williamstown, MA, on March 12, 2025. The lecture is sponsored by the St. Kateri Institute and Catholic Rural Life, and is part of a larger initiative entitled, Ministry in Rural Areas and Small Towns Initiative.

The purpose of the initiative is to expand upon CRL’s legacy of successful programming and accelerate our capacity to equip lay leaders and clergy in Catholic parishes throughout rural America. We seek to extend CRL’s reach to over 100 Catholic rural dioceses across the US, thereby impacting thousands of Catholic congregations and lay leaders. Through our national network of CRL’s 35 collaborators and five partner organizations, CRL seeks to share the gospel of Jesus Christ and sow seeds of a living and vibrant faith among the many networks and centers of influence that permeate rural life and communities.
