For nearly 100 years, Catholic Rural Life has committed to religious service for rural Catholic communities across the United States. Our vision is to see thriving families, farms, and parishes – centered on faith, community, and care of creation is made possible through the work of our Thriving in Rural Ministry programs. One of CRL’s most impactful programs is the Thriving in Rural Ministry Retreat series. This Giving Tuesday, we hope to raise $10,000 to sponsor 14 rural priests to attend a 2023 retreat. We cannot do this important work without your financial support and prayers.
Gifts to Grow!
Your generous gifts will help us grow our special fund, which helps cover the costs to send a rural priest to the 4 night/5 day Rural Ministry Retreat. The CRL retreats in February, June, and October of 2023 are great opportunities for priests to cultivate brotherhood and create strong networks that nurture communities of faith. When you give a “Gift to Grow” this program, you extend the reach of rural ministry by investing in faith leaders. Priests harvest great spiritual rewards from the CRL retreat experience to better serve their rural communities.
A gift of:
- $50 covers the retreat’s educational materials and workbooks for 1 priest
- $100 pays for a leadership inventory assessment for 1 priest
- $150 pays for a week’s worth of meals for 1 priest
- $300 assists 1 speaker to present an afternoon session at the retreat
- $1,000 covers retreat lodging for 2 priests
