A Lenten Journey Through Black History In Rural Ohio - Catholic Rural Life

A Lenten Journey Through Black History In Rural Ohio

Monday, February 22nd, Thursday March 4th, and Thursday, March 11th, 2021

Event

The Catholic Rural Life Conferences and Anti-Racism Task Force of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati Social Action Office invite you to join us for a series of three presentations looking at three unique aspects of African American history in southwestern Ohio.

During this time of reflection, we invite you to journey with us into our history to learn how our Black sisters and brothers came to our part of the state – how communities formed, what they looked like, how they interacted with (or were invisible to) neighboring communities, and where they are now. To learn from our history is to equip ourselves to move forward with compassion and solidarity. Please join us for one, two, or all three of our events. You can find descriptions and link to all of the events at https://resources.catholicaoc.org/offices/catholic-social-action/events.
