The Diocese of Des Moines and CRL (then NCRLC) celebrated the rural visit by Pope John Paul II to Iowa 30 years ago this past October. This issue highlights the presentations made at a special Symposium focusing on the care of Creation and environmental stewardship. The commemorative event also recognized the gratitude and graciousness of rural America and those who produce our food.
